What information do I need to provide when obtaining a custom quote?
items required
Most couples tend to order an invitation, rsvp card & information card for the invitation suite and welcome sign, seating chart, place cards & menu for the ‘day of’ stationery and signage.
quantity
Our pricing is on a sliding scale, so the higher quantity you order then the cheaper the cost per piece it becomes. We usually work in multiples of 10.
custom design
Custom designs do have an artworking fee. This cost is based on your ideas and the intricacy involved in creating the design. Often clients will provide images or a Pinterest board of the style of their wedding including elements of existing stationery designs that they like so we can get an overall feel for the day and what may be involved in creating a stationery concept. There is also the option of a semi-custom design, if you like a few of our designs and want to combine them or perhaps you just want to tweak a few things of a design.
print method
Some print methods have more time and materials involved than others so this can certainly affect the cost of your stationery. The most economical option is digital printing, followed by white ink, digital foil, letterpress and foiling. You could also combine different printing techniques.
stock choices
Card stock and envelope choices can also affect cost as some are more expensive than others. Your choice of stock may determine the print methods available to you and vice versa. i.e. Dark card stocks would require white ink, letterpress or foil printing. Letterpress printing is usually on 100% cotton stocks and dark coloured envelopes would require white ink printing.
extras
There are a few options to make your stationery suite extra special such as guest names on invitations, envelope printing, assembly with ribbon (+ swing tag) or a bellyband, lasercut embellishments, envelope liners, rounded edges and edge colouring.
